The Technical Side

This website leverages Next.JS and Payload CMS and is 100% server-side rendered. In sticking with the visual theme of the website, one of my overarching goals for this project was to minimize client-side JS as much as possible—reminiscent of simpler time on the web. I might do a more in-depth post about the evolution of this project at some point, since the iteration you see here is far from the first.

Into The Future

My vision is that this website is ever-evolving. I'd also like to make it more collaborative— soon I'll be adding comment sections, recruiting friends to write guest posts, and getting the guestbook up and running. Big shoutout to the developers and artists on neocities, they were the inspiration for much of this.
